User accounts: Administrator names, email addresses, phone numbers, and passwords (stored as secure hashes).
Member records: Names, dates of birth, contact details, marital status, giving records, and attendance history entered by church administrators.
Usage data: Login times, feature usage, and error logs to help us improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and maintain the Zion CHMS platform.
To send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets, giving receipts).
To send automated messages you configure (birthday greetings, anniversary wishes, event reminders).
To process subscription payments and issue receipts.
To respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

Service providers who help operate the platform (email delivery, SMS gateway, payment processors) under confidentiality agreements.

4. Member Data Ownership

Your church owns all member data entered into Zion CHMS. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination, data is deleted within 90 days unless retention is required by law.

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
